If all is well with Pulseaudio, then running pavucontrol before Until you know that the machine is or is not failing, thenĭebugging is, as you've probably noticed, incredibly hard. The best advice I can offer is:ġ) debug the currently remote desktop locally.

What's more, I installed x2go server on an old x86 ubuntu install (it already had pulseaudio), and when I connected to it from the same windows computer, the sound "just worked," without having to modify any server-side (or client-side) configurations. I checked the server-side log with journalctl -f while connecting and disconnecting to the server, and it didn't seem to give any pulseaudio related errors. I tried fiddling with the setup files in many ways, and still no sound. Everything works great, except for that there is no sound. I installed x2go server/pulseaudio on my ARM architecture Odroid U3, and run x2go client from a windows box. I had the exact same experience as fixles. Has any progress been made on this issue?
